(hereinafter "Hanseatica" and/or the "Company") is the owner of the site www.hanseatica.com (hereinafter "the Site") and is responsible, in accordance with Argentine legislation, for the files generated with the personal data provided by users through this Site.

Your visit is subject to the following conditions, which are mandatory and binding. 

If you disagree with these conditions, you must refrain from using the Site and/or the services provided therein. Your continued use of the Site implies that you have unequivocally expressed your knowledge and acceptance of these conditions, thereby acquiring the status of "user" (hereinafter the "User" and/or the "Users"). The use of the Site, its visit and navigation automatically grant the condition of User and the full acceptance, without reservations of any kind, of the conditions in the version published by Hanseatica, available at the moment of accessing the Site.

Hyperlinks

In the cases in which this page contains a hyperlink that refers to another page, or this page is reached through an existing hyperlink in another virtual site, Hanseatica Compañía de Seguros S.A. shall not be responsible for the contents or services offered in, or for the statements or information contained in pages other than those belonging to the Company.

Illegal use

When using or accessing the site or any of its pages, the User assumes responsibility for any unlawful transmission of information or information contrary to morality and good customs or of a libelous, offensive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable nature, including but not limited to the transmission of messages or information that in themselves constitute or encourage conduct contrary to national or international law or give rise to civil liability actions. 

Likewise, the User undertakes not to send or transmit documents or software containing viruses of any kind. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, the User is not authorized to use the information or software contained in the site for commercial purposes.

Damage to Third Parties

Access to this page must be made under the sole responsibility of the interested party. Hanseatica Compañía de Seguros S.A. assumes no responsibility for any damage caused to the computer systems (physical or logical) of the Users caused by the use of the site or the downloading of files (including those resulting from the activity of malicious programs or computer viruses) handling of the information collected through the web page; jurisdiction and applicable law in case of having to settle any conflict, among others, should be contemplated.

Terms of service

Hanseatica contracts its Internet access with a third party Internet provider. For reasons beyond Hanseatica's control, the Site may be unavailable due to technical difficulties or failures of the Internet, the provider, or for any other reason that cannot be attributed to Hanseatica. 

Therefore, Hanseatica does not guarantee the availability and continuity of the operation of the Site, nor its usefulness for the performance of any particular activity, nor its infallibility and, in particular, but not exclusively, that Users, as defined below, will be able to use the Site and access its contents.

Exemption from liability

Hanseatica is expressly not liable for damages of any nature arising from the interruption, suspension, termination, unavailability or lack of continuity of the operation of the Site, for the disappointment of the usefulness that Users may have attributed to the Site, to its technical failures not attributable to Hanseatica. 

Explicitly, Hanseatica shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the use or the impossibility to access the Site or because the User has relied on its content. 

Neither is Hanseatica responsible for any damage to the User's equipment or digital documents caused by failures in the system, server or Internet. Hanseatica assumes no liability of any kind if, as a result of accessing or using the Site, the User's equipment is attacked by a computer virus. 

In this sense, Hanseatica, in particular, does not guarantee that the information, software or material to which the User may access through the Site is free of viruses of any nature, such as, for example, viruses generally designated as "worms", "Trojans", "Hoax" that may cause damage to the Users of the Site or their property. Neither shall it be liable for any damage that may result for the User from browsing the Site, downloading information, texts, forms and images, or consulting its "windows".

Site

Hanseatica has developed and manages this site and reserves the right to discontinue or modify it. This right extends to the possibility of modifying its contents without prior notice.

Contents

Given the continuous development of our activity and the innovative nature of the same, the accuracy or complexity of the content of the Site is not guaranteed or warranted without reservation, in particular because it may not be absolutely up to date. For this reason, the User should review the information obtained from the Site before using it. 

Accordingly, the Site may contain forward-looking statements based on current circumstances. However, actual, future events, the development and operation of Hanseatica may differ from these estimates as a result of various factors such as, for example, known or unknown risks, uncertainties, force majeure, changes in the economic policy of the Argentine authorities, exchange rates, etc. 

Moreover, the information contained in the Site, even with our best effort to prevent it, may contain technical inaccuracies, typographical errors, references to discontinued or unavailable products or services, so Hanseatica does not guarantee that this will not occur.

Destination of the personal databases and of the information provided

Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs the processing of all Personal Data (as defined in Law No. 25.326) provided by Users through our website located at the URL www.hanseatica.com and you are requested to read it carefully. If You do not agree with this Privacy Policy or with Hanseatica's handling of Your Personal Data described below, You should refrain from providing Us with Your Personal Data and from registering on the Hanseatica Site.

  • To provide the services associated with Hanseatica, as indicated in the Terms of Use.
  • For the marketing of the services offered on the Hanseatica site to the Users of the site.
  • To allow us to develop and market other products and services in order to seek to improve our site and customer service and make them more valuable to you (including personalizing our website when you log in to your account to enrich your personal online experience).
  • To send promotions, offers, events and any other information that may be of interest according to the profile of our customers and any labor market information that may be of interest.
  • To answer all your questions and queries.
  • To share with third parties who perform actions on behalf of Hanseatica and who provide services to Hanseatica, such as professional advisors. From time to time Hanseatica may request your consent to process, use or disclose your information for any other purpose not expressly provided for in the preceding list.

Hanseatica reserves the right to cross-reference your information with third parties in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, takeover, or transfer of all or substantially all of our Company's assets, provided that the third party agrees to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy, and provided that the third party only uses the data for the purposes for which it was provided by you. In the event of a transfer, you will be notified in order to ensure your right to opt-out.

Hanseatica informs that you are responsible for keeping your user data and password created on the Site and for maintaining the confidentiality of such information., Therefore, you will be solely responsible for any damage that may be suffered as a result of the improper use of the same.

The User undertakes to indemnify and hold Hanseatica, and each of its directors, employees and its controlling, controlled and/or related persons, harmless from any legal or administrative situation that may arise and that may cause damages due to the misuse of the Site and of the user keys and password, made by a User or any other person or anyone who, with their user keys and password, accesses the Site. Misuse of the Site is understood to be that which pursues a personal purpose or a purpose other than that established in the terms and conditions. 

The indemnity provided for in the preceding paragraph shall not apply when the damage derives from failures of the Site itself, in which case the corresponding User shall not assume any liability whatsoever.

Request of the owner of the data. Right to rectify or update.

You may request Hanseatica to confirm the information of your Personal Data that the Company has in its databases, at any time, and require its modification or rectification, updating or deletion from our database. Hanseatica may require you to verify your identity and further information about your request. Hanseatica will try to process your request in the time required according to the modality and term stipulated by the Personal Data Law 25.326. Hanseatica informs that your data are collected for the purpose of administering and managing the activity of access to the services that link you to our Company. In accordance with the provisions of art. 6 of Law 25326 you are responsible for the inaccuracy or refusal to provide your data. 

Deregistration

You may request Hanseatica to cancel your registration at any time. In any case, you can write to us at comunicaciones@hanseatica.com

Preservation of information

The information that is provided by You on the Hanseatica Site will be stored for as long as legally required, in order to comply with our legal and contractual obligations in accordance with the legitimate interests of Hanseatica as the administrator of the Personal Data. Hanseatica will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that your data is kept up to date. However, you are obliged to inform Hanseatica of any and all changes to your Personal Data to ensure that it is up to date. Hanseatica will update it or remove it from its database where appropriate.

Information sent through the Internet 

The information you provide to us is stored on servers managed by us or by our Internet service provider. Hanseatica cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us over the Internet, due to the nature of the Internet.

Collection of information from visitors to the site

Hanseatica collects information to improve our services. Hanseatica does not use the information thus obtained in a way that identifies any particular person. It will only be used to better understand the users of the Site and to detect trends, interests, most visited pages, etc. for all Users of the Site. 

Hanseatica may share this information with third parties to assist in these purposes. Hanseatica may also perform marketing profiling to identify the services that may be of most interest to you.

If at any time we decide to use your Personal Data in a manner significantly different from that set forth in this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email, and you will have a choice as to whether or not Hanseatica may use your information in the proposed new manner.

Your rights

"The owner of the personal data has the right to exercise the right of access to such data free of charge at intervals of not less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is evidenced for such purpose pursuant to Section 14, subsection 3 of Law No. 25,326. The NATIONAL DIRECTORATE FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA, the controlling body of Law No. 25,326, has the power to deal with complaints and claims filed in relation to non-compliance with the rules on the protection of personal data."

You may exercise your right of access, rectification and suppression of your data in accordance with the provisions of art. 6 of Law 25326, by sending an email to comunicaciones@hanseatica.com.

Use of content

On this basis, the User accepts and understands that the use and/or interpretation of the information provided in all the pages of the Site and the decisions taken by reason thereof, are made entirely at the User's own discretion and sole risk and responsibility. Hanseatica understands that it is the User's responsibility to evaluate the usefulness, scope, meaning and applicability of the information contained in the Site. 

In no case it is understood that the recommendations or suggestions made may exclude, nor make unnecessary or prudent the consultations with a professional of the specialty. In this sense, the information contained in the Site cannot be considered legal, fiscal or professional advice, nor does it imply a position or opinion on the part of Hanseatica. In order to obtain either or both, the User should, as stated above, consult a professional in the field.

Minors

Minors, defined according to the provisions of the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation, who access the services provided by Hanseatica through the Site shall do so with the consent of their legal representative, and minors who do not obtain such consent shall at all times refrain from browsing the Site. 

Hanseatica is not responsible if the User is a minor and, nevertheless, surfs the Site without the authorization of his legal representative. Hanseatica, sharing the community's concern on this issue, urges parents to exercise active supervision of the use of the Internet by their minor children.

Access

Finally, Hanseatica reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to refuse access or withdraw access to the Site, terminating the user status, for breach of these Terms.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Any judicial or extrajudicial dispute arising from the application or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Argentina, excluding the rules of private international law, and the National Ordinary Court of the City of Buenos Aires shall have jurisdiction to hear such disputes. Likewise, the nullity of a provision of this document shall not generate the nullity of the entire text, but only of the provision in question.

Hanseatica has established its legal domicile at Av. del Libertador 498, 23rd Floor, CABA, where all legal notices must be sent.

Corporate Governance

Publication on the public website of reports on aspects of corporate governance to assist market participants and other interested parties in monitoring the strength and solvency of the entity. The information disseminated should be relevant, timely, accurate, reliable, relevant, clear and sufficient.

To the extent applicable, inclusion on the entities' public website of the notes to the financial statements and the following information:

  1. Structure of the Administrative Body and Senior Management, including the names and professional and educational background of the members.
  2. Economic Group (main shareholders, their equity interest, voting rights and representation on the Board of Directors and Senior Management).
